Founders Festival Wheat - Amazing session beer. Not really a wheat, not really a pale ale. Crisp, tasty and absolutely delicious

Founders Double Trouble DIPA - Mediocre DIPA, bottles could be old.

Two Brothers Hop Juice - On draft for the first time since Hop Fest...softened up a bit, not quite as dry. Still like it a bit better bottled.

Tyranena Bitter Woman in the Rye - An IPA made with rye...not sure on this one...get more of the rye than anything else...not bad but I don;t know that I'd drink again.

Ska Modus Hoperandi - Very good canned IPA...I could do some damage with this.

Also...

Two Brothers from Italy Pizzaria and Ristorante in Elmhurst has food that sucks.

Skip it. Hear their pizza is a local favorite but it looked only mediocre walking through the place.

Beer, Beer the musical fruit...

Quite a few lately...sure I've missed some.

Bells Two Hearted Ale
- Delicious IPA, nice bite..well into IPA territory but still comfortably below a DIPA. Like this a lot more bottled than draft.

Ska Decadent IPA - Had a Bomber @ Tannins wine bar in Elmhurst. Very solid DIPA, dark, smooth and puts a hurting on the tongue.

Founders Devil Dancer - DIPA with a lot more going on than just hops, real malt backbone, lots of other flavor and @ 13% you know you're getting warmed up. So delicious.

Dogfish head 120 Minute - On Draft @ Brixies, first time I've had it and was worth trying but a bit too sweet and liquor like.

Dogfish head Aprihop - On Draft @ FFF taphouse, was good...not overly fruity but a bit too tart. The tartness from the apricots buried the hops.

Dogfish Head Palo Santo Maron - Absolutely amazing brown ale. A must have. So much going on.

Southern Tier Mokah - Someone put chocolate chip pancakes in my coffee!!! Absolutely rediculous Imperial Stout with a metric butt ton of chocolate and coffee flavor. Obscene yet delicious, a mixture of their Chocolat and Java stouts.

North Coast Old Rasputin - Not trying to be anything more than a Russian Imperial Stout. Refreshing, solid and not trying to hard to cram every flavor in the book into the bottle. Highly recommended.

Three Floyds Apocalypse Cow - This is like Lesbian porn for hops...I don;t even know what to say. Amazing on tap, amazing bottled...just amazing.

Three Floyds Smoking Trebuchet - A crisp bock with a lot of smokey flavor. Not my thing but very tasty and worth a go.

Three Floyds Jinxproof - A solid Pils...just not my thing.

Three Floyds Sand Pebbles - Hoppy brown ale, nothing remarkable but nice to try.

Three Floyds Blackheart - Solid throwback IPA, very tasty, not overly hoppy but still has some snap on tap and FFF, have a bomber put away for a rany day

Two Brothers Outlaw IPA - Taphouse only brew available during the Hop Fest for Hop Juice...nice IPA, liked it better than Hop Juice that day.

Two Brothers Hop Juice - DIPA, wasn't a fan of it on tap this year at Two Brothers Fest but the bomber I brought home was devine. It's here and there on tap so maybe some time on it necessitates a second try.

Victory Hop Devil - Bottled strong IPA at the Shithouse because the rest of their beer is lame. Always a good option.

Rock Bottom American Dream IPA - Nice IPA, a bit light in the pants for it's 7% ABV but good flavor and very easy drinking
